SCOPE OF WORK
- Conducted a comprehensive annual inspection in line with AS Standards and NCC requirements as part of the Annual Fire Safety Statement for the Sydney Modern Art Gallery.
- Collaborated with the original contractors during site meetings to clarify the details of non-compliant items and monitor the progress of rectification efforts.
- Provided recommendations for rectification methodologies and associated costs to address identified non-compliance issues.
- Undertook rectification work, including the installation and repair of fire seals and fire/smoke dampers, to bring all fire safety measures into compliance with the relevant standards.
- Compiled and submitted a detailed final inspection report, documenting compliance with photographic evidence and verifying that all fire safety measures listed on the Annual Fire Safety Statement were met.
Outcome
- Identified and documented all non-compliant items in accordance with AS Standards and NCC requirements.
- Allocated responsibilities for the identified non-compliance issues to the appropriate subcontractors, facilitating timely resolutions.
- Completed all required rectification work, including the installation and repair of fire/smoke dampers and fire seals, which ensured the AFSS could be endorsed without delay.
