Project Overview

Absolute Fire Solution is currently engaged in fire seal installation work at Amazon SYD 56 in Smeaton Grange, in collaboration with Climatech. This project aims to ensure that all fire-rated penetrations within the facility are sealed according to rigorous fire safety standards.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Conducted a thorough review of project specifications and architectural drawings to identify all necessary fire seal locations for both electrical and mechanical penetrations.
  • Collaborated closely with Climatech to establish appropriate materials and methods for fire seal installation, ensuring compliance with AS1530.4 and AS4072.1.
  • Installed fire seals in accordance with project specifications, providing effective protection against fire spread through service penetrations.
  • Engaged in ongoing consultation with Unified Fire and Climatech, addressing Passive Fire-related inquiries and facilitating any necessary adjustments to the installation plan.
  • Prepared comprehensive documentation, including Fire Seal Installation Certificates, Passive Fire Registers, installation reports with photographic evidence, and marked-up drawings of all completed work.

Outcome

  • Successful installation of fire seals has been completed in compliance with all relevant AS Standards and NCC requirements, enhancing the fire safety of Amazon SYD 56.
