Absolute Fire Solution has been engaged by Unified Fire to perform fire seal installation work at Amazon SYD 54, a critical facility designed to enhance operational efficiency while adhering to stringent fire safety standards.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Reviewed architectural and engineering drawings to identify all electrical and mechanical service penetration locations requiring fire seals.
- Developed a comprehensive fire matrix, detailing the specifications for passive fire protection systems to be implemented in the project.
- Installed fire seals at designated service penetrations in accordance with AS1530.4 and AS4072.1 to meet the required Fire Resistance Levels (FRLs).
- Provided ongoing consultation to Unified Fire throughout the project, addressing Passive Fire-related inquiries and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Prepared and submitted Fire Seal Installation Certificates, Passive Fire Registers, installation reports with photographic documentation, and marked-up drawings of all penetrations.
Outcome
- All fire seals were installed in compliance with AS Standards and NCC requirements, ensuring effective fire protection for the facility.
- The project is currently ongoing, with successful progress made in a timely manner, adhering to the construction program and deadlines.
