Project Overview
Absolute Fire Solution provided crucial fire protection services for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Stage 1 redevelopment.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Inspected fire/smoke dampers per the relevant AS Standard and NCC requirements and prepared a Third-party independent Fire Damper Inspection certificate with an inspection register/report for the mechanical contractor to form part of the Occupancy Certificate.
- Fire-sealed mechanical service penetrations with passive fire protection systems per AS1530.4 and 4072.1 to comply with NCC requirements.
- Prepared and submitted the Fire seal installation certificate, Passive Fire Register, and installation report with photos and marked-up drawings of all mechanical penetrations.
Outcome
- The project is ongoing, with 80% completed.
- The client is satisfied with the current progress.
- The fire/smoke damper inspection register has been updated regularly and is ready for review by all stakeholders during the project.
